Overview
ProblemTracker is a web application and is accessed by
using a standard web browser. Once correctly installed on a
web server by the ProblemTracker Administrator, you access
ProblemTracker by entering the appropriate URL into your
browser.
ProblemTracker Installation Directories
The ProblemTracker web server files are installed into a
different web server content directory depending upon which
workgroup(s) you install, as shown in the following table.

Starting ProblemTracker
Once installed, ProblemTracker can be accessed via the following URL:
http://serverName/ContentDir/ptlogin.htm
where serverName is the TCP/IP name of the host
where the ProblemTracker server software is installed, and
ContentDir is the directory for the particular
ProblemTracker workgroup.
For example, if you installed the software development workgroup
on a server named MyServer , you would use this URL:
http://MyServer/ptdev/ptlogin.htm
This will present the ProblemTracker log in screen where you can
enter your User ID and Password. If this is your first time
using ProblemTracker, please see your Administrator for
your User ID and Password. If you are the Administrator and this
is your first time using ProblemTracker, please login using
Admin as the User ID and Admin as the Password. Then please change
the Password.
